Ken Harper, who hails from faraway Kinistino, Saskatchewan, has been in organized real estate, with LSTAR, since 1984. He has served on the Board of Directors for many years, becoming the Association’s President in 2004.
He has chaired the Nomination Committee, the Executive Committee, the MLS® Systems Committee, the FilogixDMS® Work Group and the Electoral Procedures Task Force. Other committees on which he sat include the Computer, Nomination and Bonspiel Committees. Ken has also served on the Arbitration Panel, on the Brokers Advisory Group, the PAC Advisory Group and the Data Management Advisory Group. He was also part of the following task forces: Disaster Plan, Staff Benefits Review, Y2K, TouchBase, Grand Theatre, Leadership Recruitment and Branding.
In 2011, he continues to sit on the Brokers Issues Advisory Group, on the Leadership Recruitment Task Force, as well as the Anniversary Task Force.

Ken and his wife, Sylvia, live in Old South London. In his spare time, this Director enjoys curling, woodworking and genealogy.
