Over the past thirty years Jim has served on various Association committees - Membership, Ethics, Arbitration, Education, MLSŽ, Constitution and By-Laws, Legislation and Political Affairs and the Ethics Appeal Panel. In the eighties, he was both a Director of the Association and the Regional Representative to OREA.

More recently, he has sat on the TouchBase Task Force and the Brokers Issues, Industry Issues and the Data Management Advisory Groups, as well as the Buyer Agency Task Force.

In 2012 Jim sits on the Executive Committee, chairs the Brokers Issues and the Data Management Advisory Groups and sits on the Buyer Registry Task Force.
