A recipient of RE/MAX International's Lifetime Achievement Award, Doug was born in Parkhill, Ontario, attended the University of Western Ontario and worked as an Engineering Technician in British Columbia before joining LSTAR in 1985. He has served on LSTAR’s Finance and its Executive Committees, the Rules & Regs and Quality of Life Task Forces and the Brokers Issues and Filogix DMS Advisory Groups.

In 2012 Doug sits on the Executive Committee, the Brokers Issues Advisory Group, the Quality of Life and the Area OutreachTask Forces and chairs the Filogix DMS Work Group.
