The winners of the 2013 Don Smith Commercial Building Awards were unveiled yesterday, February 4, 2014, to a capacity crowd at the London Club.

Speaking about this event, Jim Holody, 2014 LSTAR President said: "I know that it's been said by Past President Doug and others, but I would like to add, that events like the LSTAR Commercial Building Awards just don't happen on their own - it takes planning, leadership and action. LSTAR EVP Betty Doré and her staff and the Commercial Council Committee met the challenge again with a 'Gold Medal Performance'.

Also, the event was only possible because of the financial contributions of Peter Whatmore and CBRE, Dancor, Millennium Real Estate Solutions, Elgin County, Voyageur Transportation Services and the members of LSTAR. Thank you all for your generous financial support!

It is through high-profile events such as the LSTAR Commercial Building Awards and LSTAR's charitable giving, that the members of the London and St Thomas Association of REALTORS® continue to show the public that they are professionals who encourage excellence and social responsibility in London, St. Thomas and our surrounding communities."
