In a show of support for the local community, LSTAR has recently distributed the proceeds from four of its signature events to their respective beneficiaries. Representatives from each organization were invited to LSTAR to receive their official donation cheques.
LSTAR's 2023 Slo-Pitch Tournament, a highly anticipated event, was the primary fundraising initiative for the Ark Aid Street Mission and St. Thomas-Elgin Second Stage Housing. The proceeds were split equally among these organizations, reflecting LSTAR's commitment to supporting local causes.
At its 2023 Charity Golf Tournament, LSTAR continued its tradition of giving back by raising funds for Mission Services of London and the Grace Café in St. Thomas. The money raised was generously distributed among these deserving organizations, each of which plays an important role in the local community.
LSTAR's 2023 Children's Christmas Party was a festive occasion designed to spread joy and cheer to young attendees. Investing in Children was the sole beneficiary of this event, and the donation will help them continue their mission of supporting children in the local community.
At last, but not least, through its 2023 Great Gatsby Gala, LSTAR raised funds for other three local charities: Humana Community Services, Wellkin Child & Youth Mental Wellness, and Women's Rural Resource Centre.
All these donations serve as a testament to the LSTAR Members' dedication to making a positive impact in the community and supporting organizations that align with their values.
