About Ron Richardson

Ron Richardson joined LSTAR in 1943, when it was known as the London Real Estate Board. He served as President in 1948, 1949 and 1959, becoming the first Member to serve three terms as President. There are several notable milestones that happened in 1959, Ron’s final term as President. It marked the first time would-be registrants had to pass a short examination on their knowledge of the Real Estate and Business Brokers Act in order to qualify. It was also the year a local committee was struck to deal with business ethics, the first attempt to manage issues related to professional standards. Ron was an LSTAR Member for nearly 60 years.
