lstar scholarship applications must be submitted electronically

If you have any university or college-bound children or grandchildren, please encourage them to apply for one of LSTAR's $1,500 scholarships. This year, there will be again four scholarships, but, due to COVID-19, all applications - including supporting documentation - need to be submitted in electronic format. No hard copies will be accepted. In addition, all submissions must be typewritten. Handwritten applications will not be accepted.

Applicants have to download the file, fill in the application form electronically, email the completed application form, plus all supporting documents, to Claire Dawson at LSTAR via claire [at] lstar.ca (claire[at]lstar[dot]ca).

The four LSTAR scholarships are intended to recognize university or college-bound students in their last year of high school (or not to exceed 2 years following high school graduation), and who have demonstrated solid academic achievement, a high level of involvement in school and/or the community, maturity and responsibility, initiative and/or strength of character and to promote their higher education through a bursary of $1,500 each. Eligible applicants must be scheduled to attend a degree granting or an accredited institution. Eligible applicants must also be either the children, grandchildren, or under the legal guardianship of the Members of the London and St. Thomas Association of REALTORS® or of their staff.

If interested, please send your scholarship application no later than Friday, May 29, 2020, at 4:30 pm (no exceptions).

Full details outlining eligibility and timelines can be found in the following scholarship application form.
