Despite its longtime moniker 'The Forest City', London's tree cover falls well below standards necessary for a healthy community and a robust infrastructure. That's why LSTAR has joined with ReForest London, the City of London and other Community Partners on an ambitious and important project – the Million Tree Challenge, a concerted effort to plant one million trees in our City over the next decade.

REALTORS^® are participating in tree plantings and encouraged to give their clients the gift of a tree on closing, to commemorate a person or pet or to mark a significant event. Memorial trees are planted in ReForest London's Celebration Forest located behind Parkwood Hospital, and honourees' names are posted on a sign at the entrance to the woodland.

We would like to acknowledge the Indigenous Peoples in whose traditional territory we work and live: the Anishinabek; the Haudenosaunee; and the Lunaapeew. The three distinct First Nations communities within the Middlesex-London area are: Chippewas of the Thames First Nation; Oneida Nation of the Thames; and Munsee-Delaware Nation. We acknowledge the many longstanding treaty relationships between Indigenous Nations and Canada – including the London Township Purchase of 1796 between the Anishinabek and the Crown. This territory is now home to many First Nations, Metis, and Inuit peoples.
Each of us must honour these relationships, and we all have a responsibility to reconcile.
