In a show of support for the local community, LSTAR has recently distributed the proceeds from four of its signature events to their respective beneficiaries. Representatives from each organization were invited to LSTAR to receive their official donation cheques.
On Friday, February 23rd, 2024, REALTORS® from across Southwestern Ontario convened at the Western Ontario Housing Economic Summit to delve into the most pressing issues shaping nowadays the region's housing market and economic environment. The event, held by LSTAR in collaboration with CKAR, HPAR, and WITAAR, featured expert panelists who offered valuable perspectives on current challenges and future trends.
LSTAR is thrilled to announce the recipients of the 2023 Don Smith Commercial Building Awards. Recipients were honoured on February 22, 2024, at the Best Western Plus Lamplighter Inn and Conference Centre. Main categories include Commercial, Industrial, Multi-family and Institutional. A judging panel evaluates the projects, based on multiple criteria.
LSTAR's 2023 "Great Gatsby" Gala, held on Friday, November 10th, was a roaring success! Congratulations to all of our Prize Draw Winners. And a heartfelt thanks to the LSTAR Gala Committee for volunteering their time to organize this amazing event, all in support of Humana Community Services, Wellkin Child & Youth Mental Wellness, and Women's Rural Resource Centre.
LSTAR is looking for Captains and Volunteers to help collect food for the London Food Bank, as part of the 2023 BusinessCares Food Drive, which will take place on December 2nd and 3rd, 2023. If you're not available on any of those dates, you can bring your non-perishable food donations to LSTAR, to fill up the big red box at our reception. The deadline for donation drop-off is December 15th, 2023, at 4:30 pm.

Our 2023 Charity Golf Tour will take place on Thursday, October 5th at the St. Thomas Golf and Country Club. All proceeds from this event are in support of The Grace Café in St. Thomas and Mission Services of London. The three distinct First Nations communities within the Middlesex-London area are: Chippewas of the Thames First Nation; Oneida Nation of the Thames; and Munsee-Delaware Nation. We acknowledge the many longstanding treaty relationships between Indigenous Nations and Canada – including the London Township Purchase of 1796 between the Anishinabek and the Crown. This territory is now home to many First Nations, Metis, and Inuit peoples.
Each of us must honour these relationships, and we all have a responsibility to reconcile.
